A tailor’s sleeve roll is a sewing room essential. The best way to achieve a perfect finish is to gently press your project using steam ( and not too much heat). Top tip; allow the fabric to dry and cool before moving it again.Using a tailor’s sleeve roll makes pressing key parts of your garment much easier. I wouldn’t be without mine.
Filled with sawdust, covered in a twill cotton on one side and a durable wool/acrylic fabric on the other, this allows perfect pressing of long or difficult to reach seams. Excellent for pressing gathers, you can use it to prevent the seam edge imprinting on the right side of the fabric.
