Well one of the reasons, is the wealth of dressmaking patterns which are available.
It is so easy to find interesting patterns from pretty much anywhere in the world and access them easily via the internet. There is an amazing pool of talent and creativity among the pattern designers. When I need inspiration, I can happily spend a few enjoyable hours online looking for ideas. It’s been a very busy day today, with three fabric deliveries. A good number of the UK delivery services made their way to my office building today. I couldn’t wait and opened all the packages, so now the office looks very messy with fabric everywhere waiting to be photographed and put onto the website for you. One of the patterns on my current list of favourites must be the loose fitting ladies jacket, V8430 from the talented Marcy Tilton. I decided to make it in one of my boiled wools and was really happy with the result, as it worked well.
